The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary Preview

Charli XCX is getting ready for a major cinematic appearance in 2026, starting with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, Charli plays what she describes as a dark version of her public image.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the star stated.

She elaborated in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, yet the concept originated from the pressure to produce one.

A Sneak Peek into The Project

The first teaser, unveiled on Thursday, mixes authentic footage from her live performances with imagined backstage scenes.

The mockumentary is overseen and co-authored by the director, who shared that the narrative centers on a world where the singer opted for alternate decisions in the marketing of her chart-topping release Brat.
